1.-How did Andrew became hooked on Sherlock Holmes Stories? 

He became hooked by buying the first Sherlock Holmes book "A study in Scarlet".

2.-Was Sherlock Holmes a real person?

No, Arthur Conan Doyle wanted to create a character for his books and the character was Sherlock Holmes.

3.- Why was Andrew been criticized by some of Arthur Conan Doyle`s fans?

Most of the Arthur Conan Doyle`s fans are concervative so they just want to read Books about Sherlock`s Adventures ( when adult ), and Andrew wrote the Sherlock`s adventures when Sherlock was a child so all these concervative fans got "angry".
